Life Fitness Elliptical Machine Review

Pros: Solid built quality, excellent control panel, accurate heart rate monitor
Cons: Pricey
The Life Fitness elliptical machines are one of the best you'll find. Almost every gym I've ever been in has at least several Life Fitness machines, many nothing but. The one downside to this however is that they are pricey. But if you're looking for something that is going to last you for a long time, you can't go wrong with Life Fitness.
This elliptical machine has one of the best built-in heart rate monitors I've ever used. It is almost dead-on with my Nike monitor, without having to wear any kind of strap or leads.
The Life Fitness elliptical is quiet and smooth, and is one of the most solidly built ellipticals I've ever used.
It includes a number of pre-programmed modes, including fat burn, hill climb, cross-training aerobics, reverse cross-training and several others. You can also use the manual setting (which is what I prefer) to have more control over your own workout.
The display is very good, with easy to read information and plenty of it. It will show you all the important stats about your workout, such as your speed, calories burned, heart rate, distance traveled, etc.
This is probably my favorite elliptical trainer of all the brands I've used. The only thing I can really say is a negative about it is the price, which will be out of many people's budget. But if you can afford it, you'll be happy with Life Fitness ellipticals.
