The Bowflex is crap if they think they can change DDD. This is a degenerative process and can’t be fixed with exercise. The symptoms can be deminished with good exercise and keeping your weight down. The biggest cause of DDD is nicotine. You want to help your back, lose weight and stop smoking.

I take this to mean that you have disc problems rather than just aging process? If so I would not recommend any machine to release any pinched nerves, or bulging discs. If you are not into NASA, please note astronauts who spend a lot of time in Space have disc problems on return, when gravity hits! Spent months in zero gravity so the discs had no pressure, but on return, OPS! In the old days they used to use ‘traction’ but realized it does not help, probably makes things worse. However good luck.
